Izzy’s Dilemma: How to Make the Right Decision

by Tony Murakami

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and Izzy was in his room constructing a gadget out of LEGO. His special talent was making gadgets that had special powers like a shockwave blaster, freeze ray, or sonic slicer. These creative inventions sent Izzy on remarkable adventures across multiple universes, where he faced different villains and won. Today, he was building something new, and he couldn’t wait to see what it would be able to do. Suddenly, his mother popped her head in his room. “Izzy, how about we take a trip to Disney World?” she asked, beaming from ear to ear.

Izzy’s eyes grew wide with excitement. “Are you serious? That would be awesome!”

So, off they went to Disney World, where they had a fantastic time riding and exploring. As the day drew to a close, they headed for the exit, but as they were walking, they saw a commotion near one of the souvenir shops. They headed over to investigate and saw a villain from the Marvel universe. It was Thanos, and he was trying to steal a rare, powerful crystal from the shop so he could destroy the world, just as he did in the movie.

“Izzy, time to save the world again,” whispered his mother.

Izzy knew what he had to do and pulled his invention out of his pocket. It was a laser cannon that was capable of cutting through solid steel and obliterating enemies with pinpoint accuracy. He raised his hand to aim, but Thanos’s minions intercepted him. Izzy was overwhelmed, and his mother grounded him to the ground and protect him from the attack. Izzy was confused and asked why they won’t fight the minions together.

“Izzy, you’re only 7 years old, and fighting can be dangerous. I don’t want you to get hurt, and you need to be safe,” she replied sternly.

Izzy understood, but his passion for saving the world was uncontainable. He wanted to use his invention to help, but his mother wanted him to remain safe. He was in a dilemma, and he didn’t know what to do.

Just then, a group of good superheroes appeared. They were there to aid in stopping Thanos from stealing the crystal. They teamed up and fought their way through Thanos’s army. Izzy watched in awe as they battled fiercely, utilizing their unique superpowers. After they eliminated all of the henchmen, it was time for the final battle with Thanos. Iron Man was leading the charge, but he was no match for Thanos’s immense power.

Izzy remembered his invention, and he knew what he had to do. He pulled out his laser cannon and ran towards Thanos. The villain turned and spotted Izzy, and with a wave of his hand, slammed the boy into the ground. As he struggled to get up, Thanos approached, intending to take out the kid once and for all.

But Izzy had an ace up his sleeve. He activated his laser cannon and fired a beam of energy straight at the villain. Thanos had seen it coming though, and he deflected the beam with his power stone. The beam of energy ricocheted all over the place and hit the crystal, which shattered into a million pieces.

Silence filled the air, and Izzy thought they were going to face impending doom, but nothing happened. Thanos realized that he had been foiled, and he teleported away in anger. The good superheroes had saved the day once again.

Izzy’s mother rushed over to him. “Are you okay? Are you hurt?”

“I’m fine, Mom. Thank you for protecting me,” Izzy replied.

Izzy learned that sometimes it’s essential to be safe and smart, but also that in desperate moments, there’s always a way to help. He also realized that the good guys always win in the end, and it’s important to stick with what is right.

From that day on, Izzy continued to invent new gadgets, but he also became more aware of safety and made sure to be prepared in case of an emergency. He was always excited for his next adventure and couldn’t wait to see what the future held for him.

The end.
